The members of the Canadian Centre for Ecumenism are united in prayer, with all Catholics in France, Quebec and around the world, as a fire engulfed the historic Notre Dame Cathedral in the heart of Paris and of civilization. We wish to assure our Catholic brothers and sisters of our deepest sympathy, friendship, our prayer and hope for the reconstruction of the Notre Dame Cathedral.
