Montreal is home to all faith communities. The multi-faith diversity of people living in harmony is a testament of the social fabric of Montreal. It is this peaceful coexistence that we want to celebrate and for which we offer Montreal our gratitude. Our hope is that throughout the world, cities torn by serious religious conflict would find Montreal a model of peace for themselves. It is at this ceremony that the three major Abrahamic Faiths will sign a Declaration of Peace as a testimony to the world.
