The Catholic bishops have agreed to ring church bells on Easter Day at 11 a.m.
Every Sunday at noon, for ten minutes, the parishes are encouraged to ring their bells.
We believe that Easter Day should be signified differently, for obvious reasons.
I think the initiative could make even more sense if all the Christian churches ring the bells on Easter Day.
This is why I kindly ask you to circulate the invitation if you consider it appropriate.
Mgr Pierre Murray, C.S.S.
